Since the malarial parasite multiplies in the red cell , living largely on haemoglobin , it is not surprising that this should be so . मलेरिया का जीवाणु रक्त की लाल कोशिकाओं में ही पाया जाता है तथा हीमोग़्लोबिन खाकर ही वह जिंदा रहता है तथा उसका संवर्द्धन भी हीमोग़्लोबिन में ही होता है .
